Das dritte Corona-Semester ist (fast) geschafft/ The third Corona semester is (almost) completed

3 semesters of Corona did not leave the library untouched. During this time, we have offered a wide variety of opening models: from completely closed, to click & collect, we can now offer some workstations. Unfortunately, only limited opening hours are possible at the moment, as many tasks are now managed differently.

After our on-site offers could no longer be used, we moved them to the virtual:
  • Quite clearly, our collection has changed. With now more than 150500 e-books, slightly more than half of our books are available digitally. Among the journals, more than 48,000 are available online and only 323 are still available in print in the on-site library.
  • The library trainings take place only virtually at the moment. The advantage of this is that students from both locations can take part in the voluntary courses together.

Even though it works well under the current conditions, we are looking forward to the winter semester, with extended opening hours and hopefully many „real“ students on site!
