An der THWS ist der Nachmittag des Faschingsdienstag (13.2.24) dienstfrei, also schließen auch wir die Bibliotheken in Schweinfurt und Würzburg etwas eher, nämlich um 16 Uhr. Am Donnerstag des Schaltjahres, 29.2.24, sind beide Bibliotheken wegen einer internen Fortbildungsveranstaltungen ganztags geschlossen.

At the THWS, the afternoon of Shrove Tuesday (february 13, 2024) is off duty, so we also close the libraries in Schweinfurt and Würzburg a little earlier, at 4 pm. On Thursday of the leap year, 29.2.24, both libraries will be closed all day due to an internal training event.

Vorbehaltlich der weiteren Entwicklung der Corona-Pandemie und den daraus folgenden gesetzlichen Auflagen, plant die Hochschulbibliothek ab Semesterbeginn am 1.10.21 eine Erweiterung der Öffnungszeiten auf Montag bis Freitag von 8 bis 18 Uhr. Die Anzahl der dann vor Ort verfügbaren Sitzplätze richtet sich ebenfalls nach den dann gültigen Corona-Bestimmungen.

Subject to further development of the Corona pandemic and subsequent legal requirements, the University Library plans to expand its hours of operation to Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. beginning with the start of the semester on 10/1/21. The number of seats available on site at that time will also be based on the Corona regulations in effect at that time.
